Lighthouse · Kewaunee, Wisconsin

Kewaunee Pierhead Light

The tower was first lit in 1931 and is still an aid to navigation. Its light shows a steady white light, seen up to 12 nautical miles out. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The square tower rises from the fog signal building at the end of Kewaunee's south pier; a friends group is restoring it and opens it for occasional tours.

On the website for now. Wisconsin's lighthouses are in the web viewer first, and they are coming to the CoastFinder app, which covers the North Carolina coast today. Follow @coastfinderapp to hear when Wisconsin arrives.
