The tower, first lit in 1884, is dark now. The working light, one green flash every 6 seconds, stands nearby, about 60 m away. A red brick tower and keeper's house on Harbor Point, inside a gated private community near Harbor Springs; it is seen from the water and across the bay, not up close.

How to see it

Above water and inside the horizon from Zoll Street Park, Harbor Springs, 1.1 km (0.7 mi) away, so on a clear day it can be seen from there, and CoastFinder puts a label on it.

On the website for now. Michigan's lighthouses are in the web viewer first, and they are coming to the CoastFinder app, which covers the North Carolina coast today. Follow @coastfinderapp to hear when Michigan arrives.
