Kaʻuiki Head Lighthouse

The tower was first lit in 1914 and is still an aid to navigation. Its light shows one white flash every 2.5 seconds, seen up to 6 nautical miles out. The tiny concrete tower stands on the islet of Puʻukiʻi off Kaʻuiki Head, at the south side of Hāna Bay, and is seen from Hāna Bay Beach Park.

How to see it

Above water and inside the horizon from Hāna Beach Park, 518 m (1,700 ft) away, so on a clear day it can be seen from there, and CoastFinder puts a label on it.

On the website for now. Hawaiʻi's lighthouses are in the web viewer first, and they are coming to the CoastFinder app, which covers the North Carolina coast today. Follow @coastfinderapp to hear when Hawaiʻi arrives.
