Lighthouse · Green Bay, Wisconsin
Long Tail Point Lighthouse
The tower was first lit in 1848 and no longer serves as a light for ships. The truncated fieldstone tower, abandoned in 1859 and too solid to demolish, still stands on the sand spit of Long Tail Point at the south end of Green Bay.
