Lighthouse · Cheboygan, Michigan
Bois Blanc Island Lighthouse
The tower, first lit in 1867, is dark now. The working light, one white flash every 2.5 seconds, stands nearby, about 90 m away. Dark since 1924 and now a privately owned, restored home on the north shore of Bois Blanc Island; a small light on a cylindrical tower nearby does the work, and summer lighthouse cruises from Mackinaw City pass it.
