Lighthouse · Atchafalaya Bay, Louisiana
Southwest Reef Lighthouse

The tower was first lit in 1859 and no longer serves as a light for ships. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It stood on Southwest Reef at the mouth of Atchafalaya Bay until 1987, when the town of Berwick moved it about 25 miles upriver to a park beside the Atchafalaya River.
