Napoʻopoʻo Lighthouse
The tower was first lit in 1922 and is still an aid to navigation. Its light shows one white flash every 6 seconds, seen up to 7 nautical miles out. The concrete pyramid stands on Cook Point, about 400 yards west of the Captain Cook Monument on Kealakekua Bay, and is seen across the bay from Napoʻopoʻo.
