Lighthouse · Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan
Lower Nicolet West Range Front Light
The tower was first lit in 1907 and is still an aid to navigation. Its light shows a steady white light, seen up to 17 nautical miles out. The tall white steel tower stood first at Windmill Point in Detroit and was moved to the north end of Neebish Island in 1931; a trail of about a mile leads to it from Brander Road.

On the website for now. Michigan's lighthouses are in the web viewer first, and they are coming to the CoastFinder app, which covers the North Carolina coast today. Follow @coastfinderapp to hear when Michigan arrives.
