Lighthouse · Baltimore, Maryland
Fort Carroll Lighthouse

The tower was first lit in 1900 and no longer serves as a light for ships. A small wooden tower on the walls of Fort Carroll, an abandoned, privately owned 1850s fort on an island in the Patapsco off Hawkins Point; dark since 1964 and in poor repair, it is seen from Fort Armistead Park and from boats.
