Lighthouse · River Delta, Louisiana
Pass a Loutre Lighthouse
The tower was first lit in 1855 and no longer serves as a light for ships. Abandoned in 1930, the rusting iron tower stands sunk deep in the marsh of the delta, reached only by boat.
