Shipwreck · Miami, Florida
Lugano
A British steamer from Liverpool bound for Havana, she ran onto Long Reef in 1913, at the time the largest vessel ever to wreck in the Florida Keys. She lies in about 25 ft (8 m) on Long Reef in Biscayne National Park, a stop on its Maritime Heritage Trail best suited to scuba divers and reached by boat only; the park keeps three mooring buoys on her. Take nothing.
