Lighthouse · Abaco, Bahamas
Elbow Reef Lighthouse
The NGA List of Lights gives its light as five white flashes every 15 seconds, seen up to 23 nautical miles out. It is one of the last lighthouses in the world still lit by kerosene, its clockwork wound by hand through the night. It stands on the west side of the harbor at Hope Town, on Elbow Cay.
