Lighthouse · New Castle, Delaware
Bellevue Range Rear Light
The tower was first lit in 1909 and no longer serves as a light for ships. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The skeleton range tower at Wilmington was switched off in 2001, when the landfill around it grew too high to see the light; a new tower about two-thirds of a mile northeast carries the range light. The old one is not open to the public.
