The chart data comes from NOAA, the Coast Guard, the state reef programs and OpenStreetMap, and some of it is old. Divers, captains and people who walk the beach every day know things the records do not. Send what you know.

We check every suggestion against a second source before it goes in, so a suggestion is a lead, not a change. Nothing about you is sent with it.

Decimal (33.9586, -77.9271) or degrees and minutes, from a dive computer, a captain or a dive guide. On a map, right-click the spot (Google Maps) or long-press it (Apple Maps) to copy its coordinates.

Something wrong with a spot the app already has?

In the app, open its card and tap Know this spot? Help improve it: wrong place, not there, wrong name, depth or height. For a misplaced feature you can take a sighting by aiming the center of the screen at the real thing. Or write to support@coastfinder.app with the name and what is wrong.
